2-week intensive glaucoma clinical and surgical teaching (Kahook Dual Blade, Ahmed Glaucoma Valve, trabeculotomy)
Supervised clinical evaluation of >150 glaucoma patients
Surgical teaching of Ahmed Glaucoma Valve (~3 primary); Kahook Dual Blade (~3 primary); trabeculotomy (~2 primary) and supervision of trabeculectomy (~5 primary)
Dr. Mustapha continues to perform these procedures frequently and is one of the only surgeons in the region performing glaucoma surgery. She recently was awarded a scholarship to attend AAO in 2019 through the Rotary Host program. She is also the recipient of an ICO fellowship in glaucoma which she will complete at the University of Colorado.
